The aim of the Gerizpean project is to highlight the time of the landscape, an idea that had so far been focused on the garden, by combining it with the transfer of the works to the studio and thus, proposing a new step within their pictorial development.
To do so, during the residence at Bilbao Arte Foundation two different lines of working were developed. On one hand several videos of 15/20 minutes approximately were recorded to deal with the passage of time using the movement of light. These videos look like photographs because it seems that nothing is moving, but in fact if you look carefully you will observe that the landscape is changing. The camera records the subtle movement of leaves and branches and their shadows, offering the real passage of time in landscape. White fabrics were placed strategically to better capture the black shadows of the forests and gardens and to show how much a landscape can change in only 15 minutes.
Later at the studio, she seeks to use the pictorial image along with the visual image captured in the garden. She will thus try to highlight the time of the landscape by means of projecting shadows and plant photographs (trees, leaves, etc.) on the painting or recordings in movement. The video screenings were used to create paintings in movement that not only questioned the passage of time in nature but the passage of time in painting.

Gerizpean means in the shade of the tree. It is a shadow that differs from the other shadows projected in other circumstances. It is a movement that changes with respect to each tree that projects it. It is logical; It is not the same to be under the shade of a pear tree than of a medlar or an apple tree. Thus the word adapts to the name of each tree. Madariondopean, mispirondopean, sagarrondopean.

El proyecto Gerizpean tiene como objetivo poner en evidencia el tiempo del paisaje trasladando al taller el movimiento de las luces y sombras del bosque, proponiendo así un muevo paso dentro de su desarrollo pictórico.
Para ello se graban una serie de vídeos de unos 15 o 20 minutos en donde se registra el cambio de un lugar a través del movimiento de la luz. Son vídeos en donde nada parece moverse, vídeos cercanos al planteamiento fotográfico, que a través de un plano fijo capturan el sutil movimiento de las sombras de las ramas, hojas y vegetación que se desmorona al proyectarse sobre telas blancas. Estas telas estructuran y acotan pictóricamente el lugar y ayudan a representar el paso del tiempo real, muchas veces imperceptible para el ojo humano pero que en cuestión de 15 minutos es capaz de transformar sustancialmente un lugar.
Ya en el taller, estos vídeos se proyectan sobre la superficie pictórica y se utilizan para crear pinturas (acrílicos sobre lienzo) en donde el movimiento de la video proyección junto con la pintura ya no solo cuestionan el paso del tiempo del paisaje sino que abren una nueva cuestión relativa, esta vez, al tiempo de la pintura.

Gerizpean quiere decir a la sombra del árbol. Es una sombra que difiere de las demás sombras proyectadas en otras circunstancias. Es además una sombra que cambia respecto a cada árbol que la proyecta. Es lógico; no es lo mismo estar bajo la sombra de un peral que de un níspero o un manzano. Así la palabra se adapta al nombre de cada árbol. Madariondopean, mispirondopean, sagarrondopean.
